Pinterest Album Posters
Artwork posters from your favourite albums and singles.
Requests
If you're interest in an album poster not done before, I accept requests. Just send me the album name as well as other useful information via email at sergio@bbjprojek.org↗ or Telegram↗.
Before requesting an album poster, please take a look at the albums in my Pinterest gallery to check if the one you want is already made.
Poster Versioning
Since my first poster, I've been doing several versions and models:
- Model I, II, III: It's the main one I've been doing since the beginning. Almost 200 posters using this model. It's based on other Pinterest posters. It includes Spotify QR, and has a carton color as background, Mostin typography as the heading and regular text.
- Model IV: Has the same design as the previous ones, but it uses Sagona font as the regular text.
- Model V: Tired of making the same poster format, I tried a new one; featuring Lusitana↗ and La Belle Aurore↗ fonts for heading text, keeping our golden pick, Sagona, for regular text.
- Model Smoothness: The project was for alternative music, so I made an alternative poster design. Featuring DM Sans↗ and Sagona↗ fonts; they were previously part of our BBJProjeK Coporate Typographies↗. Text will be always stylished lowercase.
Trivia
- The inception of the project stemmed from my desire to create posters featuring my favorite indie albums, including Cannons, Yumi Zouma, among others. Given the relative obscurity of these bands, I felt compelled to craft my own designs and posters.
- After sharing them on Pinterest, I received a lot of requests to create posters for mainstream music. Despite initially adhering to my principles, the demand led me to expand my scope and create designs for mainstream artists as well.
You can also create your own posters, just don't copy the designs and let your imagination make the work. Here I give you some nice tools to start designing them:
- Artwork Finder↗: For downloading the album artworks
- Spotify Codes↗: For getting the Spotify thing. You know, the QR-like
- Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, etc: For making your design. I personally prefer Figma.
